  • Passport Fees Set to Increase on April 2nd

    Beginning Monday, April 2, 2018 the passport acceptance fee will increase from $25.00 to $35.00, per the U.S. Department of State. Other fees for passport application services remain the same.

  • Recorder's Office Warns Against Unsolicited Mailings Charging for Deed Records

    As a reminder - the Recorder's office can provide a copy of recorded property deeds at no cost. Many residents have reported receiving unsolicited mailings (example) that are attempting to charge money for something you can obtain for FREE. The office recommends you ignore mailings such as these.

The Recorder also processes requests for any certified copies of vital records. This office also serves as a Passport Agent for the US Dept. of State Passport Services. We take professional passport photos for a fee. We also handle your simple research requests or assist you with more difficult research.
